GARBAGE DISPOSAL NOT RUNNING?
Make Sure Disposal is UNPLUGGED before removing any foreign objects, nails, hairpins, or food from the blade area, then hit the RESET button on the underside of the garbage disposal. NEVER put fibrous fruit or vegetables, such as celery, banana skins, rhubarb, artichokes or bones into a disposal. If the reset switch doesn’t do the trick, you may also try sticking in a broom handle to dislodge the blades from hardened food; using the handle as leverage to manually spin the blades.
